I found Shane Foley quite by accident and I don't think that I have ever made a wiser decision than to hire him as my realtor.
Circumstances beyond my control forced me into me into facing the purchase of a new house before I was really ready. I found Shane's website via the MLS website and filled out an information form without really thinking anything about it. Shane telephoned me within half an hour and asked if there was anything he could do to help.
I felt comfortable with Shane just on that initial phone call, and invited him to come to meet with myself and my soon to be ex-partner, who was also looking for a home. My wife and I listed our home in Stittsville with Grapevine just after Christmas. We had some calls and a few showings including several real estate agents.
One of our first contacts after listing was Shane Foley from Keller Williams who called us through our Grapevine listing. We agreed to meet the next day for a discussion and a look at our home. My wife and I found him to be very friendly and informative and even though we told him up front that we were sticking with Grapevine, he gave us some valuable selling tips and assured us we had priced our home in its proper market.
We continued on for another month with Grapevine but then we realized we needed more exposure as our new home was nearing completion. Hi Shane: When you sold our house, we thought we were getting the royal treatment reserved for the bigger sales. Kellie, your stager, did a great job; very friendly, very professional and very thorough. We worked very hard to follow her directions as it all made sense. Then you had a very good photographer come in and do both stills and a virtual tour of our home. It was amazing and presented our home beautifully. This was all done before our house actually went on the market. Then came the "open house weekend"; Saturday and Sunday. We were fortunate to have another place to go for the week-end so, when we returned on Monday and heard that you wanted to come over Monday evening with what appeared to be a good offer and then the house was sold that night, subject to building inspectors approval, we were stunned. 3 days!!!!! As we said, we thought we were getting the Royal Treatment because we are your Aunt & Uncle but, we have been advised that we are not that special!! Everyone you represent gets the same treatment. Seriously Shane, we were proud to be represented by you for the sale of our home and look forward to continuing with you in finalizing the purchase of our new home.
